Around 7,800 coworking spaces exist globally as a result of the continued growth of this industry, which has increased by 36% over the past year. Unquestionably, the coworking trend is here to stay.
According to the report, venues today serve, on average, a third more users than they did even only two years ago. About 500,000 individuals work in coworking spaces at this time. However, interestingly, the growth in members has not resulted in a less collaborative workplace.
In every country, there are more coworking spaces. They don’t appear to have an oversaturated market, though. Nearly 85% of the space operators in their area disagreed with the statement that there are currently too many coworking spaces.
A little over one-quarter of respondents said they would be open to having new rivals in their market and thought there was a place for comparable locations for coworking. Contrarily, just 14% of respondents to the poll agreed that the quantity of coworking spaces in their area had already reached an excess.
